Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment and systems. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to supervise a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment and initiate procurement as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment history.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
- Ability to fabricate or repair equipment using various tools and techniques.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual is a plus
